Refund policy
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If there are any issues with your order please act promptly as per this policy to ensure rectification.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you may request a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your package (defined as the date the postal carrier has marked the goods as delivered), subject to the conditions outlined below.
The cost of the return postage to our business will be at the customers expense, unless it is a result of an SNS Dancewear error. Packages must be returned securely and we highly recommend tracking be included. We take no responsibility for returned items that are lost in the post and if we do not receive the items, the return is considered ineligible for refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, free from any stains, hair (animal and human), odours and marks/damage, not be a sale item, not be a custom piece and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We do permit the trying on of the goods briefly to ensure the sizing is correct provided all of the conditions above are adhered to.
Sale items will be clearly marked and these items will not be eligible for refunds, exchanges or store credits. By purchasing one of these items, the customer acknowledges the item as is and that the item is excluded from all return and refund rights except where required by law.
To start a return, you are required to contact us at snsdancewear@hotmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to our place of business in Australia.
If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

All returned items are inspected. If an item is returned showing signs of any of the reasons stated above under eligibility for returns, we reserve the right to reject the return in full, issue a partial refund or offer a store credit at our sole discretion. If the item is returned in an unsaleable condition, the return will be rejected. If a returned item is deemed not eligible for a refund, the items will not be returned to the customer and will be classified as forfeited.
We will provide you with details on how to return items by email. If you do not follow ALL of these steps, the return wont be processed, the return will be classified as forfeited, no refund, exchange or store credit will be provided and no further action will be taken.
If you are based outside of Australia, returns can be very costly. Please contact us to discuss all options.
If a parcel is returned to us due to non collection, refusal to collect or take delivery or incorrect address provided by the customer, SNS Dancewear will not be liable. These types of goods are treated as returns and are subject to this policy. For any goods returned to us, original shipping fees and any tariffs or duties paid are non refundable. Customers will be given the option to have the order reshipped at the customers expense (plus any tariffs or duties) or cancel the order and receive a refund for the goods only.
If you have received an incorrect item due to an SNS Dancewear error, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods as determined by the carriers tracking updates. You must email us at snsdancewear@hotmail.com describing the error (including photos if applicable) along with the order information. Failure to notify us within the 7 days may void eligibility for rectification. If we agree that an incorrect item has been sent, we will arrange for a the goods to be returned by providing you with either a shipping label or a post bag. If you return the goods in any other way, the costs will not be reimbursed. The conditions for returning incorrect items are the same as the conditions for returns. All items must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, free from any stains, hair (animal and human), odours and marks/damage, and in its original packaging. Replacement items will not be shipped until the original item is showing as being posted by the carriers tracking service.
Available refund options include a store credit or a refund to your original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days for refunds to be processed due to bank processing delays. Store credits will be issues immediately on acceptance of return.
Any custom orders (including custom designed base costumes and/or any crystal or embellishing services provided) can not be cancelled once the order is placed, even if the order has not been completed or shipped. Due to the complex production process for custom pieces, we are unable to reverse or cancel these orders once they have been confirmed.
At SNS Dancewear we do our best to represent colours to its true shade . Colours may appear different across different devices and screens and as such we can not provide a refund or return for colour variations within normal limits.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Chargebacks and disputes are taken very seriously. If a customer opens a chargeback while an order or return is in transit, goods are not collected, uses false or misleading claims, fails to contact SNS Dancewear first or is in relation to a sale or custom item, we will not allow any future orders to be placed and we will dispute the chargeback using not only this policy, but also all electronic documentation including correspondence and tracking. Completion of the checkout process is the customers acceptance of all policies, product information and all disclosed conditions. Disputes founded on change of mind, dissatisfaction with disclosed information or inability to return items according to this policy does not constitute an SNS Dancewear error.
We reserve the right to amend or update this policy at any time, determine eligibility on returns, refuse returns that do not comply with this policy and limit or refuse returns from customers with excessive activity or abusive behaviour.
This policy applies to all purchases unless otherwise states by SNS Dancewear.
